Irradiated in the USA

How many times have we heard that a new medication breakthrough has been discovered and has been shown to cure serious diseases - but are told it will be 5-10 years, or more, before it will be available to the public because it must first be thoroughly tested for safety by the FDA?

Yet, based on the actions of one individual on Christmas Day, 2009, Backscatter X-ray machines were installed all over the US in literally a matter of days without any independent testing or trials of the suitability of mass x-raying millions of people?

Remember the "underwear bomber"? Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab had no passport, he was on a terror watch list, and his own father had tried to warn U.S. intelligence beforehand that he was a threat. And yet he walked right on board, aided by a well-dressed Indian man who has since disappeared with the FBI seemingly engaged in a cover-up to protect his identity.

Yet, despite all the breakdowns in supposed "security", the usual and opposite reaction of any private organization ensued.  A private organization with such a breakdown would be fired.  When Government screws up, which is not a rare occurance, the demand is always for more government... more money.

The Backscatter machines have been around for a while but the Government could never get enough support to install them (see this 2007 article on the Backscatter).

The "underwear bomber" was just what they needed.   Michael Chertoff, Former Department of Homeland Security and now the head of the Chertoff Group, was the lead cheerleader for what is being called the Full Body Scanner Lobby and, coincidentally, was hawking full body scanners in the days after the underwear bomber.  In 2009, Chertoff went on a media tour promoting the use of these scanners, without disclosing that he was getting paid by Rapiscan, one of the two companies currently contracted by TSA to provide the scanners.

But, today, news emerged that the TSA has been caught covering up a surge in cases of TSA workers developing cancer as a result of their close proximity to radiation-firing devices.  The information came from the latest FOIA documents obtained by the Electronic Privacy Information Center.

It really shouldn't come as much of a surprise.  After all, think about when you go to get an X-ray at your doctors office.  They put a heavy lead vest on you and try to just focus the X-ray on the part of the body they wish to investigate.  Meanwhile, the doctor, nurse or X-ray specialist goes into a separate room behind protected glass.

The Backscatters?  The people being X-rayed are getting a full body X-ray... something that can really add up for frequent travellers (and part of the reason why a Pilot group has called for all pilots to refuse the Backscatter).  Meanwhile, TSA agents stand literally feet away from the machine, being exposed to radiation hundreds of times per day.

Now, I abhor the TSA and I dislike most of the types of people who tend to gravitate to jobs in the TSA - but even I am not in favor of irradiating them constantly, on purpose.

Still, the TSA does not allow any independent outside testing of the safety of these machines even after some internal tests showed them emitting 10 times more radiation than they are purported to emit.

Some people have even vowed to never fly in or through the US as long as these machines are used, stating that even being in the same room as one of these machines is risky.  It's hard to disagree with them - at least unless a serious independent study can be done.

The Top 3 Reasons Why This Machine is Unnecessary and Needs to be Removed

1. The whole reason for the existence of the TSA is 9/11.  Despite all the evidence that the official 9/11 story is impossible (see the  Loose Change documentary), the official story is that people with "box-cutters" hijacked the planes.  Since then the door to the cockpit has been reinforced so people cannot now gain entry into the cockpit.  As well, no airplane will ever be hijacked in the US again.  The reason?  The memories of 9/11 are still too fresh and any attempt to hijack a plane will immediately be met by passenger resistance just like the Turkish Airlines hijacking earlier this year.

2. They don't work.  In numerous tests by the TSA sending undercover agents through the scanners, they have never detected the threat.  In this instance earlier this year, an agent carrying a handgun went undetected through the Backscatter.

3. Both the 9/11 attacks and the Underwear Bomber were quite obviously either conducted by factions inside the US Government or, at the very least, allowed to happen despite prior knowledge by the Government.  Efforts need to be focused on a serious, independent investigation into these serious events and not on irradiating hundreds of millions of people unnecessarily.

There are thousands of very good reasons not to travel to or anywhere in the US now, including this British couple who spent 5 weeks inside what they called a "third world prison" in the US because a US customs agent forgot to stamp their passport upon entry!

Or, the "seven hour security check" a bunch of old British people were subject to recently in Los Angeles.

Being forcibly irradiated or groped is just another reason not to go to the US.  And, for those that live in the US, it is just another reason to want to get out of there.

Great article with shocking video. The TSA demonstrates how central planning works in a society.

Complexity, Correction, Collapse, and then Reconstruction!
June 28, 2011
by Don SwensonThe evolution of change seems to be progressing as stated above!

Our society is now in a state of complexity and confusion which is obvious if you listen or watch the experts expound on their reasons and solutions for dealing with our economic problems. Personally, I listen to and watch numerous media programs on a daily basis and listen to hundreds of experts expound on each economic issue which confronts our global society. Some of my favorite programs to watch are: CNBC Market Watch, Bloomberg TV, Fox Business News, Korelin Economics, Money and Markets, King World News, McAlvaney Reports, Financial Sense, and numerous economic blogs. What I have deduced from listening to and watching all these programs is that we live in a complex economic environment where no one person actually understands the full details and consequences of the events that are transpiring.

Why all this confusion and complexity? My take on this situation is based on what has evolved within our monetary system these past 40 years. Our original monetary system was quite basic and simple when our money was mostly physical paper notes and metal coins. Prices of products were low (29 cents for a gallon of gas in 1961, for example) and a $20 dollar note could purchase gas, milk, and food for a day and often much longer. We also earned our money from mostly the production of real goods within all our manufacturing plants and widget shops. If we played a game of sports or an activity that did not result in some productive product…we usually did this activity for ‘free’.

Life was much more basic and simple and problem solving was much easier. Experts would generally agree on a solution and progress would move forward via consensus. All this has changed over the past 40 years and we now have an economic system which is mostly based on services, amusements, mass communications, digital electronics, imaginary monetary units, government stimulus projects, and real-time decision-making within a casino type environment.

Since the closing of the gold window in 1971, new financial schemes and risk hedging instruments have emerged to protect investors, lenders, and debtors from losses and from major risk changes over time in the marketplace. The biggest change since 1971 has been all the derivative instruments which have been invented (all to deal with risk and risk aversion). Credit Default Swaps were unknown back in 1971. Collateralized Debt Obligations (CDO’s) and similar instruments were unknown back in 1971. Money flows moved mostly from customer to banks and then back into the marketplace at a much slower pace and with much more understanding of what was happening.

Today, we have funds moving electronically (at near the speed of light) from customer to merchant, from bank to bank, and from investor to the global marketplace. Lenders, investors, merchants, and customers can transact business and exchanges with the click of a mouse or the swipe of a credit card. The age of slow-moving paper notes and metal coins has been replaced with digital money, high frequency computers, mathematical algorithms, and real-time currency (fx) transactions. Back in 1971, we would think in terms of thousands and millions when we purchased real estate or lent funds for developments and business projects. Today, we think in terms of billions and even trillions. The newest concepts in trading are words like ‘pips’, ‘colocation’, ‘quants’, ‘latency’, ‘algorithims’ and ‘real time’. Why all this complexity and change since 1971?

The real cause of all this change and complexity, in my opinion, has been the change in our money unit. Back in 1971, our money unit was viewed as a physical thing (paper checks, notes, or metal coins). Money was created as paper notes via a printing press (mostly in Washington D.C.) and coins were created at various mints (Philadelphia, Denver, San Francisco, etc.). This process was slow and efficient and this kept prices low and business transactions moving more slowly. Inflation and bubbles were minimized and people borrowed money with stable underlying values and real collateral that supported the lending which was occurring.

Gradually, however, the marketplace changed and evolved into a computerization of our money units and this allowed electronic transactions and much speedier outcomes. Our Central Bank (the Fed) allowed banks to make loans with easier terms and conditions. This process encouraged borrowers to finance all their projects, homes, and businesses with newly created and borrowed money units. Easy financing terms and conditions allowed practically everyone to borrow and spend in the now for what they desired. The process of bidding for a limited supply of products and goods created a continuing inflation of prices over time. But all this was reasonable and sound as long as ‘values’ were increasing with the continual borrowing and spending.

The economic system which evolved during the 70′s, 80′s, 90′s, and up until the crash of 2008…allowed more borrowing, spending, and increasing values to occur. The hidden ‘canary in the coal mine’ (debt) was ignored by everyone as ‘values’ and ‘incomes’ continued to grow and increase over time. The politicians, economic advisors, real estate investors, stock investors, and business tycoons…all felt that this trend and process could and would continue indefinitely. No one suspected the crash of 2008 (except a few realists who were hidden and unknown to the mass psychology that had intoxicated the public mind).

We are now living in a new age where most of us are becoming AWARE of what has transpired over the past 40 years. We now witness the overwhelming complexity and confusion which has evolved from the ‘big bang’ monetary expansion and debt which is now our reality in the marketplace. How can we now deal with this overwhelming change which has affected and infected our markets? How do we eliminate all this debt (which has already been spent on growing our prosperity from 1971 to 2011)? We have lived ‘high on the hog’ since 1971 and we now must deal with these consequences of our prior behavior. What must now happen in the next few years to ‘correct’ our system and then re-establish a new path to growth and prosperity?

The real cause of our economic situation has been the Keynesian Model which we have all followed since 1971. This model is based on a ‘one-way’ street of debt, spending, and value increases. As long as debt can be serviced and collateralized with sound underlying values, this model is viable. But the crash of 2008 exposed the flaws in this debt based model. When a threshold of debt is reached, then this model breaks down…and confusion and collapse emerges over time. We are now at the point of a cyclical correction (downward) with a major collapse (of values and sustainability) emerging in a few years (say 2012-2015). All this is psychological and based on human nature and economic behavior.

Our real problem is unsustainable debt in the USA and the entire global marketplace. We witness this as we read about the financial situation with Greece, Portugal, Ireland, Spain, Italy and the unsustainable debt and deficits in the United States of America. Debt is the ‘canary in the coal mine’ which has now reached a threshold level. Most of this debt can not be repaid…so defaults and bankruptcies will grow over time to create more complexity, confusion, and collapse. We all need to recognize that the model of Keynesianism is now defunct and bankrupt. We need a new model going forward! Witness the consequences of this model here: www.usdebtclock.org.

What is now needed is for everyone to get knowledgable and current about the causes of our situation. Once we understand the causes of our situation and problem…which are now manifesting in the marketplace…we can think about a NEW MODEL for our FUTURE. Before we propose any new model, however, we all need to understand the real PROBLEM and the underlying causes of our problem. Also, our problem is now global and planet wide. The entire global economic system has become inter-dependent and inter-connected. Any new model will need to encompass a global solution as all 200 plus countries are now merged into one global village where all natural resources need to be shared. To stay current on what is happening in the global marketplace, stay tuned to this website and blog: http://kingdomecon.wordpress.com. Enjoy and pass this missive on to others who might want to grow in their economic thinking!

When I was in LA about 5 months after I visited you in Mexico, I got approached by the police but could not provide ID and I was outside a hotel near the airport. The called Homeland security and the FBI ( as they told me I was a threat to the USA) they arrived, put me in the trunk of jeep and I was taken to a "third world prison" that was at least an hour away from the city, about 20 mins from any civilization and up in the hills. Luckily I handled myself reasonably well and after throwing me in a cell for a few hours, one FBI agent drove me back to the nearest town ( I rode in the front seat wierdly unhandcuffed ) and they dropped me outside a 7/11 with nothing.

when you think about it, irradiating passengers before they can board a air plane isn't a whole lot different than adding sodium fluoride to the drinking water, and they have been doing the latter for several decades, and nobody seems to care. Cancer means GDP growth. Pun intended. There is a term for all this. PWNAGE.

I am surprised by the video. I didn't realize that we had any immigration enforcement. It seems that half the population of the U.S. border states are Mexican immigrants or their offspring. In fact, I just read an article that for those under age 2, the "minorities" are now majority.

Just remember the names, LIEBERMAN, CHERTOFF, and LEVIN. These synagogue buddies are 100% responsible for the radiation machines @ airports. These men are criminals, responsible for the cancer in the TSA workers and Im sure are busy using their other kosher contacts to cover it up. Gee, I wonder why I havn't heard of this on MSM, perhaps because that too is completely controlled by jews? WAKE UP. Ask the Jewish question. Stop being terrified of being labled an ANTI-SEMITE. http://www.realzionistnews.com/?p=641 Watch that clip for proof of the conspiracy.

I say it should be the other way around. There should be no security and if you don't like it don't fly. We don't get screened when we get in the car and I can assure you there are more terrorists on the road than airports.

So does this mean we can sue Southwest Airlines for their ad "your are now free to move about the country" (yeah right)?

As long as TSA is in our airports, Osama Bin Laden is still alive no matter what they did with his body. I'd love to hear this said on the house floor.

Another problem is they are in fact using these x-ray machines to screen passengers in other countries and every passenger that gets on the plane at that. So if you must travel abroad and upon your return you get irradiated when returning to the US and upon arrival here you must go through the TSA lines and get zapped again, twice in one day.

The government has yet to come clean with all the facts surrounding the 2009 underwear bomber and the decisions behind moving backscatter machines into transportation centers.

From eyewitness reports from Kurt and Lori Haskell and others, the underwear bomber was escorted to the plane. Several on that flight suspect that the "bomber" was a subterfuge - a setup - so that there would be a reason to move these backscatter machines into the airports. The technology was in the works for many years before 2009.

It is a mistake to pin ones hopes on any politician to "save" us. Witness the recent "smack down" by Rand Paul on John Pistole - RP comes across as a paper tiger and no more. John Pistole knew very well he was just getting his wrist slapped. By merely having that conversation with Pistole RP gave legitimacy to Pistole's function. Telling Pistole to pursue ways that "do less to violate our rights" is like telling a wolf to try cutting down a little on all that meat-eating.

Don't expect the airlines to save us either. While its customer base has been radiated and assaulted at our airports the silence of the travel industry on this matter has been deafening.

Don't fall for cheap political tricks like trusted traveler programs either. That just pits one group of people against another, seemingly less-privileged group - and it still gives TSA the right to radiate and grope you even if you think you've been pre-screened.

It is really going to be up to people to vote with their feet and wallets and refuse to fly and allow themselves to be assaulted by TSA. A number of us are taking action. Please join us at Freedom to Travel USA and check out groups on Facebook like We Wont Fly and Boycott Flying. Also check out the blog of pilot Michael Roberts at Fed Up Flyers. See you there!

There's nothing anti-Semetic about railing against the STRANGLEHOLD ZIonism has on the world. Zionism has NOTHING to with relligion or ethnicity - in fact, most "Jews" have little to zero "Semetic" ancestry. It's about POWER and WEALTH - and transferring it directly from citizens to THEMSELVES (the fascist state and corporations). It's like their previous agenda - Boshevik Communism - just a less in your face and with better movies and TV shows.

But I gotta confess, Jews aren't my favorite group of people incidentally LOL! The Talmud is an EVIL EVIL book that teaches lying, stealing, cheating, and killing GOYS. "The Satanic Verses" - not by Salman Rushdie, but by Rabbi scum.
