Global Cooling & Red Hot Gold

Welcome Again,

Another day, another alltime nominal high in gold in US dollar terms.

Gold touched a record high of $1,387.10 in European trading while silver rallied to a fresh 30-year high of $24.65 on Thursday as a tumbling dollar gave a boost to precious metals and commodity prices across the board.

And that is what was and continues to be the story: the rapid decline of the US dollar.  Just look at this chart of the US dollar index:

A drop from a high of over 88 to nearly 76 since June is a major movement in the currency markets.  But, being Dollar Vigilantes, it certainly wasn't unexpected.

It should be noted, however, that the seemingly big rise in gold & silver is much more about the fall of the dollar than it is about the rise of gold & silver.  This can be easily confirmed by looking at the precious metals in terms of other currencies.  Here is a chart of gold in terms of euros:

While gold has performed extremely well in terms of euros over the last year it is still well below the 1,041 high it hit in June.

Nonetheless, if you held gold over any fiat currency for the last year you are well up.  And what we expect is that every day gold stays at these levels, or higher, the junior end of the mining sector will get closer and closer to a mania.  The last time there was a true mania in the junior end of the precious metals mining sector was in the late 70s/early 80s.  During that time many a stock rose from pennies to levels even over $50 for gains in the tens of thousands of percent.  And we are expecting that again.

Our next junior stock recommendation is due to be released tomorrow or on the weekend as we are just completing our due dilligence and write-up.  Subscribe today to get the inside edge on the best junior mining stocks to hold for the mania stage of the movement back to gold as money.

And now, let's talk about something completely different.

Global Cooling

You may have noticed that Al Gore and his criminal gang of liars and thieves had many of their plans stymied by the Sun over the last few years.  They almost had everyone believing that carbon dioxide was heating the world up dramatically.  But, thankfully timing was not on their side as about 10 years ago we began to enter into a very noticable cooling period which has become noticably worse in recent years.

In fact, after a few years of incredibly cold winters and much cooler summers in most parts of the world the "global warming" crowd had realized that the message of "global warming" did not resonate with many people anymore as places like Miami were close to having a white Christmas and people on their Mexican vacations in Cancun were buying up sweaters and sipping hot chocolate last February.

And so, they had slyly began to use the term "climate change" instead of global warming.  Very sneaky.  Now, with "climate change" being the slogan of the day they could point to any change in weather as being proof of their bunk theories.  Is it hotter than normal for this time of year?  Climate change!!  A bit cooler or rainier?  Climate Change!!  We must do something!

But now it is really becoming clear that, if anything, we are in a period of cooling.  London's Daily Telegraph reports that "Global Cooling" was on the agenda of the recent Bilderberg Group in Spain in June and nearly daily now there is one leading scientist or another coming out about the fraud of "global warming" as did Harold Lewis, the Emeritus professor of physics at the University of California who stated, "Global warming is the greatest and most successful pseudoscientific fraud I have seen in my long life".

But, you might say, "Hey, you are a financial and geopolitical newsletter, stick to those topics".  We have two responses to that.  1) As long as many people believe in it and many politicians are bent on instituting economy-altering carbon taxes then we have to pay attention to it, because if the whole world were to do what Al Gore proposes then global economic activity would be stunted if not nearly destroyed.  And 2) Judging by the commercials put out by the 10:10 group that we commented on here recently, some of these green environmental groups are not only intent on cutting down on CO2 emissions, they want to kill off most of the human species.  That, alone, makes it our business!

But there is now so much scientific proof and evidence that we are not only not warming but that we are in fact cooling significantly that there isn't too much controversy for us to get involved with here.

We just wanted to ask the question.  With snow set to fall over England today and just having come off its coldest winter in 31 years, and with the global elite of Bilderberg even admitting that we are in a period of global cooling then, according to Al Gore and company, wouldn't we need to emit MORE CO2 in order to prevent the planet from cooling too much and causing problems for food production as Newsweek commented on in 1975, saying we were heading into a new "ice age"?

If human-created CO2 really causes the planet to warm then shouldn't we all be running out to buy SUV's and keep them running all night to save the planet?

Should Al Gore be arrested, or even blown up like in the global warming commercials, for all his efforts to reduce CO2 at a time when we clearly need more CO2 in order to prevent cooling?

We're just asking.

Until tomorrow,
